loved it August 28, 2008 Dolly Day we were very happy with the ease of the purchase and speedy delivery. the game was in the exact condition that was stated.
Would have been better if they just skipped a year!!! February 16, 2008 T. Perry (Baltimore, MD USA) The title should tell you how bad this game frustrated me. I saw the average rating on this game and thought, OMG, someone else could fall for that and have the same problem I am having. Here is how it goes: Oh, what a cool splash screen, the typical "It's in the game", followed by Mcnabb staring you down. And staring... And staring... So, you watch a few minutes of your favorite TV show (on another device), and then pause to start up a franchise. This takes a bit, as you start off in training camp, and have a great time watching almost 40 minutes of tv show during loading between camp options and menu screens. (Not joking, it was actually 1.5 hours of tv fast forwarded through commercial) Once that is done, you are off to your first Pre-Season. Now, you have a great game and win!!! Hooray! Then you get back to updating all of your favorite players using the Assistant Coach (which is a GREAT feature), but you will have a few bugs to jump through. Oh yeah, more waiting involved for outstanding load times. No problem, this game is a blast! Madden ANYWHERE! Play game two, and spank that loser AI team with one hand on the controller. Such fun, let's end the game and move on the regular season.... But wait, why is my screen black??? I didn't turn it off... After turning it back on, you are greeted to the PSP Splash screen... You didn't save after your first game, actually, you didn't save from the start of your franchise!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! Loop that 3x and that is what happened to me before I flung the UMD for distance! It was a great toss by the way. Hope you enjoyed.
Fugetta bout it; Great game! November 15, 2007 T. Pasio I think some of the detractors are missing the point. Madden 2005 is undeniably great, but it is time to try some new things with some really useful additions. The best one for me is, you can finally set your receivers to go the necessary yards in any pattern to go the necessary yards for a first down! That alone beyond extremely useful! O.k, so quarterback vision isn't so great. Shut It Off! EA is pro active in trying new things to make a better gaming experience. If you spend time with it, it WILL win games for you. The truck stick is the hit stick, except you running back gets to flatten someone. Great addition! Your offensive line is now fully adjustable to allow for the best pass protection. There is an audible mode where you select the X button, right thumbstick for a long pass, short pass, play action, or run WITHOUT your formation changing. The defense is not tipped off when you are change the play, and you can get some great mis matches. That was a great idea! Defense is improved by selecting the back you want to double cover with, and slides your linebackers and corners into better position to defend. Madden 05 was almost perfect. This game made some changes. Some great, some not great. You do have the option of turning them off, or not using them, so no harm done. At least they're trying to keep it interesting. Some folks are wondering, "Where are the cheerleaders?" You're kidding right? Dude, when they come on, should we leave the room for you? C'mon, man I'm playing football here! Great game with some innovative additions; all of which you can shut off, or not use. Oh, and if you're I'm not looking for a cyber peep show...go buy a calendar or something.
ok but could be better March 21, 2007 Darcy Smith (panama rep of panama) for those of us that had the privilage of using the espn game series these games are lossing a lot the grafics are ok, still the 2005 espn was better, but some new things are neat. the qb view is nice, but really doesnt improve the game, so if there is a 2k5 out there gete it.
