Fair September 30, 2008 J. Parsons (Pleasanton, CA) Good product for the price, not very stout but will hold most thinner types of travel cups. The mount works fine.
WorkBiker September 30, 2008 Crisandra Harrison (Rochester, NY) I got one for my bike one for my husband's. His was fine but mine twisted off at the first bump. The coffee mug went completely upside down, thankfully I read a previous post and used saran wrap to cover the mug so I was not covered in hot coffee. Mine had issues with assembly as it would not stay tight so I think some products may be defective.
Good cup holder June 6, 2008 P. Fuller Easy to install, sturdy, and works great. Be careful going over bumps and/or curbs or your drink could spill. Recomend
Great item if secured properly August 30, 2007 Muneerah (CT) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I had read some reviews where people were complaining about the liquid sloshing around. Unfortunately when you are on a bike, that will happen. It works great for my purpose. I ride my bike to work and like to bring a cup of coffee with me. My old bike (that got stolen) was a mountain bike and I had metal baskets where I could wedge my cup in a corner of the basket and keep it upright for my ride. When I replaced the bike I got a hybrid but unfortunately the frame design doesn't seem to work with baskets-this was my solution! My purpose is to transport the beverage (not drink while riding-dangerous with coffee anyway). I simply put a bit of saran/plastic wrap over the top of the cup before I put the lid on it and vwahla...keeps it even more insulated with heat and prevents the coffee from shooting out the top and trickling down the cup, onto the bike frame and my feet and legs. Simple thing but totally does the trick.
I had my doubts January 9, 2007 Austin Jackson (Auburn, AL USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I wasn't sure how well this thing would work. When I told people that I had ordered it most people told me I was crazy. However, once I got a coffee cup with a lid that closed completely (emphasis on completely), it worked like a charm. Simple design, simple installation (if you'd even call it that), and it works!
