Anybody can put up a tree by themselves with this great product. No more wrestling with metal screws and trying to get the pennies to stay in place while tightening them down to hold the tree upright.

I purchased this swivel stand primarily as a means to quell the annual holiday argument that my wife and I have over straightening our Christmas tree. The stand works and locks very easily. The only issue I have is that it is a little bulky (understandably, though), and if you have a tree that's very top heavy, it won't lock as precisely (through trial and error, though, it's easy to compensate). Overall I would highly recommend this product. It truly does simplify the tree straightening process.

Purchased another one since my son broke the old one I had, best fifty bucks I ever spent the first time, was no question that I had to get another one this time. Set the stand where you're putting the tree, attach the base to the tree bottom (three set screws), drag the tree into the house, pop it in the stand, push on the pedal and straighten it up...step off the pedal, give it a nudge and it locks into place. I don't even have to tie up the tree, steady as she goes! It doesn't matter how crooked the tree is, always works and no swearing!!

There are 3 great things about this tree stand. First, the swivel. It's so nice not to have to worry about cutting the trunk to make sure it's level. It's so nice not to have to worry about screwing it on straight. You can always swivel it straight! It can be a pain to work with, but overall it's really handy. Second, the fact that it is two pieces is fantastic. It's so convenient to be able to screw the little cap on rather than trying to deal with the entire stand. And third, and this is something I didn't appreciate until this year, it blocks your dog from drinking the tree water!
I have a friend whose dog got really sick this year from drinking the tree preservative that was in the water in the christmas tree stand. I was paranoid about my own dog (this is his first Christmas) until I put the stand out and realized there is no way he could drink out of it. The shape of the stand would make it hard for a dog to get in position to try and drink, and also the way the cap and stand fit together, there's no room for a dog's tongue to fit. A very nice added bonus.
This is my fourth Christmas with this stand and it's still working fine.

This is the best Christmas stand on the market. You really can put up the tree in one minute.
We take the collar to the tree farm with us and they cut the trunk of the tree to fit the collar. All we do is take home the tree and drop it into the stand and then swivel it straight. Its that easy.
It has saved my marriage!!!
