winner winner for all sports June 12, 2010 Robert Sanchez (Ben Lomond, Ca) Great book, fits all sports. The sayings alone are worth the price of the book.
Excellent April 24, 2010 B. Reiter Ordered this book for my grandson at OSU. He was very happy to receive and thinks it is a great book.
This book is about life March 9, 2010 N. J. Korora (Akron Ohio) This book is about life and a little football. This book really puts things into perspective, after I finished reading this book I realized what a wonderful person Jim Tressell is. His whole life all he really ever wanted to do was help people. Being a coach gives him this opportunity. The way he looks at life is the way more of us should. If you feel like improving yourself and life read this book.
Great Book on Leadership February 22, 2010 Buckeye75 I wanted to read this book because I am a die hard OSU Buckeye fan since birth. I have also spent the last 16 years serving my country and leadership is a necessary part of my life. Coach Tressel brings to light several ways he uses to make men out of football players, not just football players out of men. The Coach uses discipline, morality and leadership by example to instill in his players the will to do right. He explains that playing football is a privilege not a right and there are consequences if you abuse this privilege. He uses the BLOCK O to guide his players in achieving goals and I recommend reading the book to fully understand how he displays and forms the BLOCK O and draws it out for application in anyone's life, not just football players or Buckeye Fans. This is a great read regardless of what team you pull for( I thought about a MICHIGAN stab right here, but I'll refrain) Everyone could get something out of it. It truly is a Winner's Manual from one of the true Winner's in life, faith, family, and College Football. Go Bucks!!!!
